국립극장은 더 많은 관객에게 공연의 감동을 전하기 위해, 2021년부터 우수 레퍼토리 공연의 고품질 실황 영상을 제작·유통하는 ‘가장 가까운 국립극장’ 서비스를 운영하고 있습니다.

창극 〈변강쇠 점 찍고 옹녀〉는 판소리 변강쇠타령을 현대적으로 재해석한 작품으로, 창극 역사상 여러 ‘최초’를 기록하며 대표적인 스테디셀러로 자리해왔습니다. 초연 10주년을 맞아 한층 업그레이드된 이번 무대는, 옹녀라는 주체적인 인물을 중심으로 생명력과 유머가 살아 있는 서사를 선보이며 국내외의 호평을 이어가고 있습니다.

57STUDIO는 본 작품의 영상화를 맡아, 스크립트 구성부터 촬영, 음향, 편집까지 전 제작 과정을 총괄했습니다. 공연의 리듬과 호흡을 존중하는 연출을 통해 무대의 에너지와 극장의 감각을 영상 언어로 정교하게 담아내며, 관객이 어디에서든 ‘가장 가까운 국립극장’을 경험할 수 있도록 완성도를 높였습니다.

Madam Ong is a landmark changgeuk work that reinterprets the pansori Byeongangsoe Taryeong in a contemporary context. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its premiere, the production returns with a refined staging that highlights the vitality, humor, and resilience of its protagonist, earning continued acclaim both in Korea and internationally.

57STUDIO oversaw the entire filming process, from scripting and camera rehearsals to filming, sound recording, and editing. By translating the rhythm and energy of the live performance into cinematic language, the project enables audiences to experience the spirit of National Theater Close-Up beyond the theater.
