작업 소개

57STUDIO는 국제갤러리에서 열린 기획전 《유명한 무명》의 전시 기록 영상을 제작하였습니다. 이번 전시는 동시대 작가 7팀의 신작과 구작을 통해, ‘작가의 출현과 소멸’, ‘유명과 무명’이라는 주제 아래 예술가적 삶의 태도와 작품의 운명에 대한 질문을 던지는 자리였습니다.

전시는 김영나, 김희천, 오민, 이윤이, 남화연, 베리띵즈, EH(김경태) 등 각기 다른 배경과 미적 방향성을 지닌 작가들의 작업이 한 공간에 공존하며 만들어내는 차이와 긴장, 그리고 그로부터 발생하는 시각적 관계들에 주목했습니다. 전시장에 배치된 작업들은 특정한 서사나 구조 없이 자연스럽게 연결되며, 동질화나 해석의 통일을 거부하고 각자의 리듬과 문제의식을 유지한 채 관람자의 경험 속으로 들어갑니다.

57STUDIO는 작품의 디테일과 공간의 흐름, 그리고 전시가 품은 질문의 결을 따라가며, 현장에서의 분위기와 감각을 생생하게 전할 수 있는 영상으로 기록하였습니다.

57STUDIO produced the exhibition documentation video for The Famous Unknown, a group show held at Kukje Gallery.

This exhibition brought together both new and existing works by seven contemporary artist teams, framing the theme of the emergence and disappearance of the artist and the tension between fame and anonymity as a way to reflect on artistic attitude and the fate of artworks.

Featuring artists including Kim Youngna, Heecheon Kim, Oh Min, Yooni Yi, Hayoun Nam, Verythings, and EH (Kyungtae Kim), the exhibition focused on the aesthetic friction and differences that arise when diverse backgrounds and artistic directions coexist in one shared space. The works were installed without a linear narrative or unifying structure, instead forming loose, intuitive connections that resisted homogeneity or singular interpretation—each maintaining its own rhythm and inquiry, drawing viewers into the experience.

57STUDIO captured the intricate details of the artworks, the spatial relationships, and the subtle questions the exhibition poses—creating a video that conveys the atmosphere and sensorial nuances of the show with vivid clarity.
