작업 소개

57STUDIO는 KF의 K-healing 전파를 통해 전 세계적으로 한국의 우호적 인식을 제고하기 위한 제주 및 한국 문화예술 관련 넌버벌 영상 콘텐츠를 기획·제작했습니다. 제주 고유의 문화자연유산 5개를 선정하여 강한 생명력의 자연 풍경과 고유의 소리를 담았으며, 제주도민들의 생활상을 함께 보여줌으로써 한국의 문화유산과 자연의 아름다움을 언어의 장벽을 넘어 세계에 전달하고자 했습니다.

제주 동백동산에서 <제주 탐조일기>를 집필한 강창완 한국조류보호협회 제주도지회장과 함께 직박구리와 팔색조를 관찰합니다. 팔색조 둥지 안에서 어미새와 아기새가 교류하는 모습이 인상적이며, 연못에서 직박구리가 목욕하는 모습을 볼 수 있습니다. 또한 동백동산에서 들려오는 다양한 새들의 울음소리를 포함한 자연의 소리를 경험할 수 있습니다.

57STUDIO planned and produced non-verbal video content related to Jeju and Korean arts and culture, aimed at enhancing positive perceptions of Korea worldwide through the KF’s K-healing initiative. We selected five of Jeju’s unique cultural and natural heritage sites, capturing the vibrant, life-affirming landscapes and their distinct sounds, while also showcasing the daily lives of Jeju residents. This project seeks to convey the beauty of Korea’s cultural heritage and natural wonders across language barriers to a global audience.

We join Kang Chang-wan, chairman of the Korean Bird Protection Association’s Jeju branch, at Jeju’s Camellia Forest to observe bullfinches and oriental dwarf kingfishers. The interaction between the mother and baby birds within the nest is striking, and you can also see a bullfinch bathing in a pond. Additionally, you will experience the sounds of nature, including the calls of various birds echoing through Camellia Forest.
