작업 소개

57STUDIO는 구가도시건축이 설계한 진관사 한문화체험관의 건축 영상을 제작했다. 본 프로젝트는 사찰 경내라는 특수한 환경 속에서, 전통과 일상이 공존하는 공간의 성격을 건축적으로 어떻게 풀어냈는지에 주목한다.

진관사 한문화체험관은 종교 공간의 엄숙함을 유지하면서도, 시민과 방문자가 머물고 체험할 수 있는 열린 장소로 기능하도록 설계되었다. 건축은 주변 자연과의 관계, 동선의 흐름, 재료의 물성을 통해 공간이 갖는 시간성과 사용성을 차분하게 드러낸다.

57STUDIO는 건축의 형식적 요소를 강조하기보다, 빛과 그림자, 움직임과 체류의 리듬을 따라 공간이 경험되는 방식을 영상으로 기록했다. 이를 통해 건축이 만들어내는 감각과 장소성이 자연스럽게 전달되도록 구성했다.

57STUDIO produced an architectural film documenting the Jingwansa Han Culture Experience Center, designed by GUGA Urban Architecture. The project focuses on how the building mediates between tradition and everyday use within the unique context of a Buddhist temple site.

The Han Culture Experience Center was conceived as an open and accessible space that maintains the contemplative atmosphere of the temple while accommodating cultural programs and public activities. Its architectural language emphasizes relationships with the surrounding landscape, circulation, and materiality, allowing the passage of time and patterns of use to shape the experience of the space.

Rather than highlighting architectural form alone, 57STUDIO approached the film as a spatial record—capturing light, movement, and moments of stillness to convey how the architecture is perceived and inhabited. The resulting film presents the building as a lived environment, shaped by both structure and atmosphere.
