작업 소개

57STUDIO는 박지하의 솔로 앨범 《Philos》 수록곡을 기반으로 한 뮤직비디오를 연출 및 제작하였습니다. 본 작업은 피리, 생황, 양금 등 작가가 직접 연주하는 전통 악기들의 사운드를 중심으로, 시간과 공간 속에서 축적된 감각의 흐름을 시청각적으로 구현하고자 하였습니다.

협업 없이 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 완성된 이 앨범은, 예고 없이 찾아온 여름 소나기처럼 일상의 순간을 포착하는 곡 ‘Thunder Shower’, 서울의 소리와 보행의 리듬을 담은 ‘Walker: In Seoul’, 레바논 예술가 디마 엘사예드가 시를 쓰고 낭독한 ‘Easy’ 등 총 8트랙으로 구성되어 있으며, 57STUDIO는 그중에서도 반복과 중첩의 미학이 응축된 타이틀곡 ‘Philos’의 분위기를 섬세한 시각 언어로 풀어냈습니다. 본 뮤직비디오는 단순한 시각적 해석을 넘어, 박지하의 음악이 지닌 고유한 호흡과 여백의 감각을 시청자에게 자연스럽게 전달하는 것을 목표로 하였습니다.

57STUDIO directed and produced the music video for “Philos,” the title track from Park Jiha’s solo album Philos. Built around the unique sounds of traditional instruments such as piri, saenghwang, and yanggeum—all performed by Park herself—the video translates the flow of accumulated sensations across time and space into a delicate audiovisual form.

The album, crafted without collaboration over a long period of introspection, includes eight tracks that quietly capture moments of daily life—like “Thunder Shower,” evoking the suddenness of a summer downpour, “Walker: In Seoul,” which maps the rhythms of city footsteps and ambient sound, and “Easy,” a poem written and narrated by Lebanese artist Dima El Sayed. Among them, “Philos” stands out for its meditative repetition and layered textures, which 57STUDIO visualizes through a restrained yet evocative language. Rather than offering a literal interpretation, the music video seeks to embody the breath and stillness at the heart of Park Jiha’s sound world.
