작업 소개

57STUDIO는 국제갤러리에서 개최된 양혜규 작가의 개인전 《서기 2000년이 오면》의 전시 도큐멘트 영상을 기획 및 제작하였습니다. 이번 전시는 역사적 사건과 인물의 발자취를 실험적인 방식으로 재해석해 온 양혜규 작가의 조각 연작과 설치 작업을 통해, 사회적 주체와 시간, 문화에 대한 다층적인 접근을 시도합니다.

전시명은 가수 민해경의 노래 <서기 2000년>에서 착안하여, 과거와 미래의 시점이 교차하는 독특한 시간성을 제시합니다. 57STUDIO는 이러한 전시의 개념을 효과적으로 시각화하기 위해, 공간의 구성과 작품이 상호작용하는 방식을 면밀히 담아내고, 관람객의 감각적 경험을 강조하는 영상으로 제작하였습니다.

57STUDIO planned and produced the exhibition documentary video for Yang Hye-kyu’s solo exhibition When the Year 2000 Comes at the International Gallery. This exhibition explores a multi-layered approach to social agency, time, and culture through Yang’s sculptural series and installation works, which reinterpret historical events and figures in an experimental manner.

The exhibition title is inspired by the song When the Year 2000 by the singer Min Hae-kyung, presenting a unique temporality where past and future perspectives intersect. To effectively visualize the concept of the exhibition, 57STUDIO meticulously captured how the space and works interact, creating a video that emphasizes the sensory experience of the audience.
