작업 소개

57STUDIO는 THE CENTAUR의 2017 S/S 서울패션위크 오프쇼 《MODERNIZATION OF SOUL》을 기록한 프로젝트를 제작하였습니다. 예란지 디자이너가 이끄는 더 센토르는 이번 쇼에서 기존 런웨이 형식을 탈피하고, 브랜드의 쇼룸에서 관객과의 밀도 있는 호흡을 이끌어내는 샬롱쇼 형식으로 패션 프레젠테이션을 선보였습니다.

공간에 내재된 긴장감과 패션의 디테일, 그리고 음악이 맞물리는 분위기를 중심으로 구성된 본 프로젝트는, 2인조 힙합그룹 XXX의 프로듀서 프랭크(FRNK)가 맡은 쇼 음악과 현장의 감각적 연출을 시청각적으로 구현한 작업입니다. 57STUDIO는 더 센토르의 실험적 무드와 정제된 스타일을 영상 언어로 담아내며, 브랜드의 독창적인 패션 세계관을 효과적으로 전달하고자 하였습니다.

57STUDIO produced a video project documenting THE CENTAUR’s 2017 S/S off-show, MODERNIZATION OF SOUL, held during Seoul Fashion Week. Led by designer Yeranji, THE CENTAUR broke away from the traditional runway format and presented a fashion show in the form of an intimate salon presentation at the brand’s showroom, fostering a closer connection with the audience.

This project focuses on the tension embedded in the space, the intricacy of the garments, and the synergy between fashion and music. The show’s music, produced by FRNK of the hip-hop duo XXX, played a central role in shaping the atmosphere. Through this work, 57STUDIO visually captured THE CENTAUR’s experimental mood and refined style, effectively conveying the brand’s unique fashion universe through cinematic language.
