작업내용

57STUDIO는 2019년 서울문화재단 최초예술지원사업에 선정되어 자체 기획한 LENZ Magazine Project를 진행하였습니다. LENZ는 텍스트를 청각과 시각으로 확장하여, 새로운 방식으로 해석을 제안하는 Audio Visual Magazine입니다.

프로젝트는 텍스트를 선정하고, 이를 해석하며 다양한 텍스처(Text-ure)를 탐구하는 과정으로 구성되었습니다.

취재는 전시, 렉처, 토크, 인터뷰 등 다채로운 형식으로 이루어졌으며, 이를 통해 텍스트의 맥락과 가능성을 심층적으로 조명했습니다. 또한, 다양한 분야의 전문가와 기고자들이 함께 엮은 텍스처는 코멘터리와 함께 영상 시리즈로 발간되어, 텍스트에서 출발한 풍부한 매체적 확장을 보여주는 결과물을 선보였습니다.

57STUDIO initiated the LENZ Magazine Project in 2019, a self-conceived endeavor selected by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture’s First Arts Support Program. LENZ is an Audio Visual Magazine that expands the interpretation of text into auditory and visual dimensions, proposing innovative ways of understanding.

The project revolved around selecting texts, interpreting them, and exploring various text-ures, creating a layered and multifaceted narrative.

The research process included diverse formats such as exhibitions, lectures, talks, and interviews, offering an in-depth exploration of the context and possibilities of the texts. Furthermore, the text-ures co-developed with experts and contributors from various fields were released as a video series accompanied by commentaries, presenting a richly expanded media interpretation originating from the text.
