작업 소개
57STUDIO는 2019년 서울사진축제 <오픈 유어 스토리지>의 RESEARCH #1 프로그램을 영상으로 기획 및 제작하였습니다. 본 전시는 1950년대 한국 사진사의 아카이브와 작품을 조명하는 ‘역사’, 동시대 사진 행위와 생산물을 리서치하는 ‘순환’, 그리고 현재 활동 중인 사진 그룹의 담론을 공유하는 ‘담론’이라는 세 가지 축을 중심으로 기획되었습니다. 57STUDIO는 이 중 RESEARCH SHOW 프로그램의 일환으로 진행된 RESEARCH #1, 박지수 작가의 “뉴-플레이어 리스트: 동시대 사진 작업의 감각 변화” 세션을 영상 콘텐츠로 제작하여, 디지털 및 모바일 환경 속에서 변화하는 사진 작업의 감각과 사유를 효과적으로 전달하였습니다.

57STUDIO planned and produced the video for the RESEARCH #1 program of the 2019 Seoul Photography Festival . This exhibition was organized around three main themes: ‘History,’ which highlights the archive and works of Korean photography history from the 1950s; ‘Circulation,’ which researches contemporary photographic practices and productions; and ‘Discourse,’ which shares the discourses of active photography groups today. 57STUDIO created video content for RESEARCH #1, a session titled “New-Player List: Sensory Changes in Contemporary Photography” by artist Park Ji-Soo, as part of the RESEARCH SHOW program. The video effectively conveyed the evolving sensory perception and thought processes of photography in the digital and mobile environments.
Park Jisoo is the editor-in-chief of the magazine VOSTOK. He has created photography magazines such as Monthly Photography, VON, and PhotoDot. He also curated the photography exhibitions Lee Minji Solo Exhibition: Site-Rag (Hapjeong District, 2018) and Reflecta of Reflecta (Hapjeong District, 2016).
